Handsome is a 6 year old registered Arabian gelding. This poor guy has been rescued more than once. He is such a sweet horse and loves people. Handsome is now a gelding and his weight gain was easy. Handsome is just that: Handsome
UPDATE: Handsome suddenly developed neurological problems which we could not resolve. Since we do what’s best for our horses we let him cross the rainbow bridge on 02/26/2012. We miss him terribly.
How about some action?
- Enjoying his food and looking much better!
Handsome’s arrival at DTHR:

He’s beautiful!
Is he rideable? Also, how much is the asking fee?
Handsome’s adoption fee is $300. He is not broke to ride but paid up in the Arabian Breeders Sweepstakes so he can make back money for his new owner from competing on him.
I am looking for something under the age of 17, and it’s needs to be rideable. Are there any horses available that can be ridden and under 17 ?
We don’t have any horses in that age group that are broke to ride right now but that will change as we hold out Alabama Trainers Expo.
What is his height?
We would have to stick him to be exact but Handsome is about 14.2 hh
Thank you!
do you still have this beautiful boy? and also, i have an older mare that is a hard keeper. shes broke to ride, but im looking for something younger and was wondering if I could possibly trade her.i rescued her and put about 200 pounds on her. she was a score of 1 on a henneke score sheet. terrible condition. but she looks great now. please let me know i am VERY interested. a lady at H and H feed Co told me about this handsome boy when i told her about my arab and i was wanting another!
If you could send us an email with the information about your horse, history and maybe pictures info@dthr.org
I’m so very sad that Handsome had to go. I thought he was going to finally be ok and find another loving, permanent home. He had such a bad time after I gave him away. I am grateful for all DTHR did to bring him back to health and good weight again. He is with his sire, (who I lost to cancer), over the Rainbow Bridge now.
